to retain the catalyst or other media and to collect the process flow.
Typical applications include reforming, hydrotreating and hydrocracking.

Slot openings are usually 1/2 of the minimum dimension of the media or inert balls.
This size opening retains the catalyst with minimal pressure drop across the screen.
The continuous slot openings provide high open area for better flow and allow only
two point contact with the media resulting in the screen being resistant to blinding.
Wedge Wire screen internals can be customed engineered for the application
including installation through a man way.
